How moving is priced

Local moves are priced by the hour, never a flat rate. A flat rate looks simple, but if the job runs long — stairs, elevators, a long carry, no key, a truck that has to move — a flat rate is what gets a customer (or a mover) burned. Hourly pricing is honest about the actual work.

2 movers$100/hrStarting rate. Clock starts when we arrive.
Truck fee$100–$150Depends on the truck and the distance.

Blankets, dollies, straps, and shrink wrap — and a load stacked so nothing shifts in transit.
Please note: these are starting estimates. The final price depends on the size of the job, stairs and access, and distance. We'll confirm the hourly rate and truck fee with you before we start — no hidden fees added at the end.

Local Moves

House-to-house and room-to-room moves within our local service area. We handle the loading, transport, and unloading, and we protect your furniture and your home while we do it — blankets, dollies, straps, and shrink wrap, with care around doorways, stairs, and walls.

We take on local moves we can do well. That means starting with smaller homes and one-bedroom moves, and being honest with you if a job is bigger than what we can handle safely right now.

Apartment Moves

Studios, one-bedrooms, dorms, and rooms. Apartment moves are where we do our best work: tight hallways, stairs, elevators, and loading docks. Before moving day, we'll ask about stairs, elevator access, loading-dock rules, and whether a certificate of insurance is needed — so nothing stalls the job on the day.

Good for: studio and one-bedroom apartments, dorm moves, and room rentals.

Labor-Only Help

Already have a truck, a rental, or a storage unit? We can supply the muscle. Labor-only help covers loading and unloading your truck, pod, or storage unit, and moving heavy items within your home.

Tell us how many movers you need, what's being moved, and how long you expect it to take, and we'll quote the hourly rate for the crew.

Packing

We can help pack before moving day, or wrap and protect furniture on the day itself. That includes wrapping furniture in blankets and shrink wrap, protecting mattresses, and making sure items are secured properly in the truck so they don't shift in transit.

If you'd rather pack yourself, ask us what to have ready — boxes sealed and labeled, pathways clear, and fragile items marked — and we'll take it from there.

Loading & Unloading

Loading is a skill, not just lifting. We load the truck in order — boxes first, mattresses and large flat items as a wall, dressers and square items as bases, and smaller items filling the gaps — so the load stays tight and nothing gets crushed.

Unloading is the same care in reverse: items placed where you want them, furniture reassembled where we took it apart, and a walkthrough with you before we leave.
